📌 System Types – Know Your Build Date

There are two types of BMW reverse camera systems, and the correct setup depends on your vehicle's build date:

🔹 Type 1 – TRSVC (Before July 2017 Build Date):

• Uses the TRSVC (Top Rear Side View Camera) module

• Typically found in F-series BMWs built before July 2017

• Includes a separate control unit to process camera input

🔹 Type 2 – ICAM (After July 2017 Build Date):

• Uses the ICAM (Integrated Camera) system

• Built into the camera itself, requiring no separate control module

• Found in most F-series BMWs built after July 2017

• Supports improved image quality and simplified wiring
